Accounts Assistant Role & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts,
  • Accruals and prepayment
  • Production of monthly
  • Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet
  • Maintaining customers and suppliers ledger, main journal posting and banks reconciliation
  • Periodic reviews of client’s files to ensure that information is being recorded correctly
  • Calculating liabilities such as PAYE and VAT & ensuring RTI requirements are met
  • Construction Industry Scheme
  • Ensuring your clients meet all their filing deadlines, providing reminders to clients where necessary
  • Communicating with HMRC and banking providers

What we are looking for in an Accounts Assistant:

  • AAT qualified Accountant
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with good time management and organisation skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of HMRC guidelines

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £28,000.00 per year
